An essential component of your design is a lighting plan to light up your home harmoniously with custom fixtures to match your interior. We will draw up a plan and control every step from search and selection to installation.

Furniture selection & sourcing

Using our industry knowledge, we find and select furniture and architectural fixtures that bring your design to life. We handle everything from finding the perfect selections, ordering, receiving and styling.

How our design process works

  • Phase 1
    Discovery
    1. Typically starts with a phone coversation in which your needs and expectations are discovered. 2. Next there is an in person consultation at the site. (A fee of $350 is charged and is deductible from further services.) - Discuss the project, budget, design styles, needs and desires.
  • Phase 2
    Concept Design
    We will present you with a Mood Board or Mood Boards which are a collection of images, materials, colour palettes, text, and other elements that are arranged to evoke the overall concept of the design. Once the overall concept is agreed upon a contract to move forward can be initiated.
  • Phase 3
    Planning & Design
    This phase begins with a site evaluation and developing the design features. Structural decisions and/or changes are made, selection of materials, finishes, lighting, furniture and accessories, and colors are made. We present these to you via a Finishes Schedule, Sample Boards and a Costing Schedule. Once agreed upon implementation can begin!
  • Phase 4
    Implementation
    Now the fun part! After the approval of the entire project and the order of materials, we begin construction. We work closely with contractors and other trades to make sure all walls, floors, tiles, plumbing and electrical installations are installed as planned, function properly and look beautiful.
  • Phase 5
    Styling
    This phase entails completing final repairs with trades people, installing window treatments, carefully moving and arranging furniture, accessories, and artwork. This completes the end to a very rewarding process!
